SFCLT and the Anti-Displacement Coalition are thrilled to invite you to Union at Home: Tenant Organizing Toolkit Release Party, a celebration and launch event for the Union at Home Organizing Toolkit — a new resource designed to strengthen tenant power and support resident-led organizing efforts across San Francisco.

This toolkit distills years of organizing experience into practical, accessible tools that tenants can use to form unions, negotiate with landlords, and move their buildings into community ownership. It’s a guide written from the ground up — by and for residents — who are fighting to make San Francisco a place where everyone has the right to stay, thrive, and shape their future.

📘 Toolkit Launch

We’ll debut the Union at Home Organizing Toolkit and explore its hands-on applications for tenant unions citywide. Whether you’re part of an existing union or just starting to organize your building, you’ll come away with strategies, lessons, and stories to inspire action.

✊ Stories of Organizing Power

Hear from tenant leaders and coalition partners who are transforming their housing through collective action, including our residents at 320 14th Street.

🤝 Celebration & Community Building

Enjoy food, refreshments, and good company as we celebrate resident leadership and strengthen our collective movement. Connect with fellow tenants, organizers, and community allies who are building tenant power across the city.

Across San Francisco, tenants are proving that organizing works. From negotiating fair rents to acquiring buildings through Community Land Trusts, residents are showing that lasting housing stability is built through collective action.

By lifting up tenant leadership and sharing real-world victories, the Union at Home launch event will:

Center resident voices and celebrate their successes.

Promote the toolkit as a citywide resource for tenants and organizers.

Strengthen connections between tenant unions, CLTs, and housing justice allies.

Together, we’re building a future where stable, affordable, and community-owned housing is possible for all.
