285 Turk St. is planned to be converted into a Limited Equity Housing Cooperative (LEHC). LEHCs offer several significant benefits of ownership as opposed to rental: stable and secure housing from which tenant owners cannot be evicted; savings from accruing a modest amount of equity in the unit (1-2% per year); and an inheritable right to the unit which the shares represent, which can be passed on to your successors just like regular homeownership.
Apply today and you could become a homeowner in the near future!
