Join SFCLT at the 2025 California CLT Network Conference!

📅 September 25-26, 2025 | 📍 Fresno, CA

SFCLT is headed to Fresno this fall for the 2025 California Community Land Trust Network Conference — the premier statewide gathering of community land trusts, organizers, resident leaders, and housing justice advocates!

This annual event is a critical space to connect, learn, and strategize with others working to expand permanently affordable, community-controlled housing throughout California. If you’re interested in housing justice, you won’t want to miss this conference! Register here.

This year, SFCLT is proud to be convening a panel that uplifts the power of partnership: Building Together: CLT & Tenant Organizer Collaborations.

This panel will explore how early and sustained collaboration between CLTs and tenant organizers lays the groundwork for successful, community-rooted CLTs. By centering resident leadership and collective action from the outset, these partnerships foster long-term stability, trust, and democratic ownership.

We will share real-world examples of CLT–tenant organizer collaboration in organizing, acquisition, and stewardship, highlighting the role of tenant power in shaping equitable, community-controlled housing. In addition, we will offer practical strategies for building relationships between CLTs and tenant-led movements.

We believe that building power with — not just for — residents is the only way to create a truly transformative housing movement. This panel will bring together organizers and resident leaders from across the state to share lessons, tools, and visions for the future of land and housing.

Whether you’re part of a CLT, a tenant organization, or a housing advocacy group, we hope you’ll join us for this vital conversation.

Save your spot today and let’s keep building together.
